Sir Alex Ferguson, the manager of Manchester United, has made it clear that he is not interested in making any signings in the January Transfer window. Sir Alex was asked the question by reporters at a press conference but he categorically denied having
any plans of adding to his squad.
Ferguson did say that he would like to send http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 and Javier Hernandez at the club, he is not getting much game
time. Ferguson added that if ‘Kiko’ can get some first team football at a reputable club, it would benefit him to a great degree in the long run. The 19 year old has featured in just 7 games this season so far, and most of those were appearances from the bench.
A couple of clubs mentioned so far as a possible destination for Macheda are Bolton from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 from Italy.
Manchester United already has a couple of young strikers out on loan. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mame-Biram-Diouf-c23302 is gaining experience at Blackburn. Ferguson said that they would continue to stay there till the end of the season.
The manager was happy with the progress of Danny Welbeck at Sunderland, and said that he hoped that Macheda could have a similar impact wherever he goes.
Welbeck, who is also part of England’s under-21 team, has played 18 times for Sunderland this season and has scored 5 goals. Welbeck has managed to keep his place in Sunderland where he is in direct competition with the big money signings, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Darren-Bent-c10358 and

Ferguson said that he has talked to Macheda about the prospect. He added that he has no doubts that playing first team football at a good club will do wonders for him as a player.
Ferguson said:
"It can pan out exactly the same for him. It would be the same thing, going to a club, getting that experience for six months and coming back to us a better player."
Macheda the Italian striker made an amazing impact in his very first outing for the senior Manchester United side. Manchester United were looking for a source of inspiration when he was sent on as a substitute and he scored an excellent win on the turn in
injury time. The goal sealed all 3 points for United and made him an overnight hit. He was handed a 4 year contract at the end of the year and he will be staying at United till 2014. However he would still have to wait for his chances to become a regular fix
in the United line up. Javier Hernandez, the Mexican bought in the summer, has made an impact since arriving, and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Owen-c25355 is also returning back to full fitness. This would mean that Manchester United would have 4 fully fit front line strikers to choose
from.
Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, has in recent years shown that he is not really interested in boosting his squad over the winter transfer window.  United did all of their buying last season in the summer and did not sign anyone in the January
of 2010 and the same seems to be the case this year. Sir Alex has always kept an eye out on the future of the club and made teams in reserve that can go on for a number of years. His process of harnessing young players by sending them out to loan is all part
of the big plan of lining up yet another champions team in the background.
Manchester United is currently at the top of the English Premier League table, and could extend their lead even further if they manage to win their game at hand.
