Sir Alex Ferguson has been praised by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denis-c10837 Law and Sir Bobby Charlton on the eve of his 25th anniversary as Manchester United’s manager. The legendary footballers, both of whom received European Player of the Year awards
at Manchester United are a part of club’s glorious history. Law and Charlton were a part of the famous Manchester United trinity which included George Best as well as Manchester United dominated European football under Sir Matt Busby in late 1960s.
In 1968, Sir Matt Busby won his first European Cup with Manchester United following the rebuilding of the club after the disastrous impact of the Munich Air disaster in 1958 when Busby’s young team died in a plane crash. Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752
had taken up the mantle of guiding Manchester United to the summit of English football back in 1986 when he took over at Old Trafford, since then he has followed in Sir Matt Busby’s footsteps who was coincidently a Scotsman just like Sir Alex.
Sir Bobby Charlton who played under the guidance of Sir Matt Busby and even scored in the European Cup final of 1968 for Manchester United said in his latest interview, “He has been so successful that he must certainly go down
as the greatest manager that there has ever been. I know I played under Sir Matt Busby but that is a fact. You only have to look at his incredible record to see that is the case because he has won a phenomenal amount of trophies at the club.”
He added that he is quite pleased for how life has gone on for Manchester United with Sir Alex in charge of the football club as it has made things unique and special due to his 25 year stay at Old Trafford. Denis Law also joined
in with praise for the Scotsman, he said, “He is committed to playing attractive, attacking football and when something in the team needs to be replaced he gets it changed with the minimum amount of fuss. He is still going strong but he could be the greatest
manager ever.”
