Sir Henry Cecil waiting for an opportunity to run Frankel against Black Caviar
Sir Henry Cecil, Frankel’s trainer, is excited about the opportunity to run Frankel against Black Caviar, who is under the training of Peter Moody.

The two unbeaten runners have a large fan-base, and it will be one of the most exciting races of the year if these two runners go head to head.
However, Cecil stated that this meeting can only take place in the Qipco Sussex Stakes at Goodwood.
Cecil stated to the press that:
"I'd love them to meet and it would be good for racing. Racing needs champions. The only race they could meet would be in the Sussex Stakes."
To appease the connections of these runners, Qipco offered to increase the purse of the race to £1m, but Moody is still skeptical about running his in this race.

Black Caviar, daughter of Bel Esprit, has never raced beyond the distance of seven furlongs, and Moody is not willing to risk on a track that stretches over a mile on an unsteady surface.
The six-year-old brown mare recently competed in the Group 1 Distinctive Homes Goodwood at Morphettville on 12th April, 2012, where she took the lead on the Mark Kavanagh trained, We're Gonna Rock, and defeated him by 1 ¼ lengths.

This was her last race in the southern hemisphere and her next stop is the Royal Ascot.
Frankel, who is owned by Prince Khalid Abdulla, is scheduled to compete in the JLT Lockinge Stakes on 19th May, 2012, where his performance is highly anticipated, and he will face some of the toughest contenders.
Frankel’s injury scare created a buzz, but tests proved that he is healthy and fit to compete. Regarding this, the trainer stated that:

"The injury should not recur and he's fine. It is a hiccup we didn't want. I think it is important to get a race into him before Ascot and it is a long time until then."
The bay colt has a promising future, and has a variety of races to choose from. He could either compete in the Queen Anne Stakes or the Prince Of Wales's Stakes in the Royal Ascot meet.
Nothing is confirmed as to the fact whether these two superstar horses will compete but it will definitely be a race of two ace players of the sport.
