  1. it's still in the early stages of discussion

  2. nope, I don't pay to listen to the radiio.....Things are too expensive already.

  3. The merger has been approved, but that doesn't mean it will actually happen anytime soon.  The "powers that be" seemed to think that a merger would harm consumers by not giving them a choice in satellite radio companies.  But, this has been found to be untrue.  If XM and Sirius join, you wouldn't have to choose between the two.  You would essentially get the best of both.  So, the whole fact that its being help up for this long is garbage.

  4. Nope, but a car salesman said the rates are sure to rise after the merger, so pay for your long term subscription (XM or Sirius) now.

  5. Looks like Gov, interests & their tool. the F.C.C. R gonna jerk 'em along until they can gain control (of content) or put them out of business. They'll try 2 delay it till Stern's contract runs out, F the Fcc !  BA BA BOOEY

  6. Department of Justice approved the deal in (I believe) March of this year.  The FCC is still dragging its feet.  The FCC chairman recommended approval of it, but it comes down to a vote among five FCC commissioners.
