Sirius radio????????

Question

I am wanting a car kit... I need to now everything i need to buy . I know i need to buy a radio but what else do i need. Can i but this at a local store?

You can buy everything that you need at www.sirius.com or at a radio shack or best buy. They have radios that work both in the car and the house. You will just have to buy an inside docking kit. Also sirius will also be available to you on-line if you subscribe.

Nearly all of the radios (except the Stiletto portables) come with a car kit.  They will have everything you need in the package (car cradle, antenna, and power cord (for cigarette lighter)).  You can use a cassette adapter, an auxiliary input if your car stereo has one, or an FM Modulator (most radios have them built in).  If you use the FM Modulator, you should buy an FM Direct Adapter as well.  You can buy all of these at Radio Shack, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.

My car kit came with everything I needed in one box. You can either buy one at like Circuit City or BestBuy. I got mine free from www.SatelliteSweeps.com, though. You could try that first.

Either a local electronics store or from the station website. In addition to the radio you'll need a docking station (with a car charger) and either a cassette that acts as a transmitter through its contacts or lo-power FM transmitter that you pick-up on an unused station thru your car radio - really neat.
