Sirrus and XM?

Question

How many of you guy's have subscriptions to any type of satellite radio? I would like to also know how many of you listen to your local radio stations?

I have Sirrus and love it. For sports fans it is defintely the best option. XM offers MLB, but Sirrus, offers NFL, NHL, NBA and NCAA games. Sirrus also has Maxim radio, Howard Stern and any kind of music you can think of. Price really isn't a deciding factor, I believe both XM and Sirrus cost $12.95 a month.

My wife and I each have XM in the car and at work.  We love it.

I only turn on the AM radio if I need local traffic, weather, or news (which is rarely).   The only time I've listened to FM since getting XM is in other people's cars.

We had 3 subscriptions to XM. One in both cars and one for the garage. When the subscription ran out we did not re up. They still sent us a bill for 6 months worth of service we did not use. We are fighting it and it has been a nightmare. I would never go with this company again. I would rather buy my music and put it on my ipod.

I have sirius and I love it! I haven't listened to conventional radio in 2 years, I hate commercials! I like my sirius so much I have it both cars and at home

i have sirius. i listen to it all the time! it is great because there are no commercials and so many channels. i also am a big howard fan :)

i do listen to regular radio also though. mostly only if i am in our other car because the sirius is only in the one. but then i plug in my ipod! there are so many commercials on regular radio and it drives me crazy.

I have Sirius in the car and I absolutely love it. And I have XM radio in the house (as part of Directv). XM is mediocre, at best.

I don't listen to local stations because none play the kind of music I like...

I bought a car, that xm came in, & liked it a lot. I bought a radio, & had it put in my other car, I can take that radio, & play it in my house on a home docking station.
