Sister JURY Duty?

hi. my sister went to jury duty. she told me it was very strange. she said every body treated her like c**p and people were staring at her and jacking off. and she wanted to tell a somebody that worked there but she was afraid. and she said when she got there the person checkin harrass her and asked her very very personal questions and made a big scene. and she said people call her names and were very cold to her. not that she was trying to be their best friends she said. what can she do? how can she deal? i see that she is overspending her money and starving herself because she doesn't know what to do and to get moving. i tried to talk to her but she is very non functioning. this is NO JOKE! please help. thank you!

if it was true, tell the police, or the news, it can be put in the news with her being completely anonymous, and would be an amazing story.

This is very disturbing. Not saying she is just a possibility that your sister is lying or exaggerating to get some misguided sympathy. Or maybe she is simply to sensitive to any sort of slights. Lots of people are not happy when they get called so tend to be annoyed.

I've served Jury Duty and this sort of mess would NOT be permitted by official personel. Most courts are happy to have you there and try making the experience as painless as possible. It could be she got a bad deal but she shouldn't be overreacting like she is.

Odds are there is some other under lying cause for your sisters problem. Try to get your parents/pastor to talk with her.
