Call the post office and see if they'll ship them first. If they will, ask them how much it'll cost for the next day delivery.

I know my mother gets her pills from a pharmacy and they come through the mail.

Where are you posting to and from? Within Britain and in many oher countries, it is illegal to send medication through the mail. That doesn't mean people don't d it though, obviously.

You can get Special Delivery from Royal Mail which guarantees your pacakge arrives the next morning - it does cost a few quid though

better to call the pharmacy where she went, DUH...and have her doctor give her a new prescription to pick up there lol...everyone is right when they tell you not to send them through the mail

Umm... you shouldn't be sending pills through the mail and I believe it's illegal if it's a narcotic, as far as costs you should probably contact the USPS and they can help you with both of your questions.
