Sister is at the sherifs

she has always been the sort of rebel you know and this night we got a call at 3am that she is at the sheriffs and i am her 13 year old sister and she is 15 what should i do should i be there for her should i be angry -- she is the mean type of sister not the loving one -- what should i do? she was walking around late at night thats why she is there - i am all restless :p

well dont try to tell her wat to do cuz she'll jus say ur jus her lil sis tell her how u feel and that ur scared and u would feel better wit her by ur side

You are her sister. You do not need to do anything but learn from her mistakes. It is your parents that need to parent in this situation.

What needed to be instilled in her should have been instilled in her long ago.

I agree that it is your parents job to deal with the situation. even if she is mean to you i guarantee she loves you. your family. just be there there for her for when she does need you. perhaps not now but maybe when your grown and on your own. That's one thing i miss is my brother we no longer have a relationship as adults cause i was mean to him as a kid. you don't have to agree with what she does but just let her know you love her

Maybe she needs attention and someone who cares a great deal about her. So yes try to being loving towards her but if she doesn't fall for it all you can say is you tried.
