Question

My sister has a problem where she pees her bed @ nite. She has been doing this since she was 5. She is 8 now. We have realized that she is peeing the bed after she wakes up so we tried punishing her. We used pullups and when she grew out of pullups we are now using GoodNites. My dad wants this to stop by the end of the summer.

Also she isn't doing her homework at her after school program. and for the homework problem she never does her homework. NEVER I MEAN NEVER! We've tried punishing, writing huge notes in her planner, talking with the teacher, in-school and out-of-school therapists,

She also picks out her eyelashes and eyebrows. She has no eyebrows left and her eyelashes are all different sizes! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

See if your parents can take your sister to a psychologist or psychiatrist. They can find out what your sister&#039;s problem is. Good Luck!

She has issues and needs to see a doctor. Try a medical doctor about the bed wetting and eyelash/brow picking.

you can&#039;t punish her for wetting her bed, it&#039;s not her fault.  I say stop giving her water or anything to drink about an hour n half before its time for bed.  Then maybe your parents or you can set your alarm to wake up in the middle of the night and take her to the restroom?  I used to do that with my son when we were potty training and it seemed to work.  But you need to be consistent with it!!!  The homework thing i don&#039;t know wat to tell ya maybe she isn&#039;t being properly disciplined because if she was she wouldn&#039;t be acting out this way dont you think?  Or she&#039;s lashing out for not getting ENOUGH attention from her big sis whom she probably looks up too and her parents....try spending some quality time with just you and her to do something she wants to do?

Shes having stress issues whats going on in your house other than her situation. My sister wet the bed for a long time we had securtiy issues we were in foster homes and stuff like that. I know her wetting the bed had something to do with the abuse that went on in our house. What are the dynamics of your household ?Wheres your mother? If she has a chance to pull out her eyebrows and eyelashes she cant be getting enough attention. Is she youngest, oldest, middle.I must say that there must be issues in your house if you...... I guess are what a high schooler, middle schooler are on yahoo answers trying to get answers. I mean shouldnt your parents be on here trying to get answers? This question maybe too serious for yahooanswers and mostly too serious for you to worry about.When you say&quot; we tried punishing&quot; her what are you doing being involved in her punishment? She may even be autistic.You dont punish a child for wetting the bed its not like they want to.She has stress issues,. You need to be a caring loving sister and try being her friend.
