  1. i read the first one in fourth grade and it was fine but i dont know about the others just skim through it and see

  2. I've only seen the film and it seems innocent enough, no swearing etc..... I don't know how old a 6th grade girl is though being Welsh so i can't really judge.

  3. The first one is fine, BUT DON'T LET HER READ THE OTHERS! They have a lot of things hinting about s*x and stuff, but the first one is clean. They just all go somewhere different for the holidays, and write to eachother about what they're doing. It's a good book, but I'm not hooked on it. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is so much better! If you want to know what that's about, here's the blurb:

About three things I was absolutely positive.

    First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him - and I didn't know how dominant that part might be - that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks, and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. With his porcelain skin, golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irresistible and impenetrable. Up until now, he has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Bella is determined to uncover his dark secret.

What Bella doesn't realize is that the closer she gets to him, the more she is putting herself and those around her at risk. And it might be too late to turn back...

Deeply seductive, and irresistibly compelling, the book 'Twilight' is an extraordinary love story that will stay with you long after you have turned the final page.

eeeek! I LOVE Edward Cullen! Anyway, there's nothing bad in that book either: They just do a lot of talking and Edward only kisses her (nothing bad). It's a great supernatural twist! Read that one instead!

  4. No.  But it's really good when you're mature enough.  It's been a little while since I read it.  But there's someone does it in Book 1 (and regrets it, so maybe that's okay).  In book 2, one girl get naked with a guy.  Maybe okay.  But definetly, definetly not book 4, lots of not good for 6th grader stuff in there.

  5. OMG this series is awesome. For any age, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is very funny, tear-jerking and all in all a great book. I read the first one in one day! Ann Brashares is a very good author, in my opinion.

The first book (the only one i've read, so far) is very clean, except, once, I'm pretty sure, a girl gets undressed in front of a boy...but if you're mature enough I think u can handle it.

The series is about four high-school age girls with very different personalities, but are BFF!!! They are about to be seperated this summer for the first time, but thanks to the magical Traveling Pants, it turns into a summer Carmen, Tibby, Lena, and Bridget will never forget.

I definitely reccomend this book!!! :)

  6. if you've seen the movie, that's about as S****y as the first two books get. nothing too promiscuous and certainly no specific details of those kind of actions, only the conflicting thoughts before and after.

the series centers mainly around problems a normal teenager faces. and by normal i don't mean "gossip girl"; i mean normal middle-class teenagers.

i mean i'm sure you watch tv and seen kissing and know about some other stuff. the series just gives girls food for thought in case we're ever caught in situations like that. learn from their mistakes and don't copy some of them.

it's easy to read and really fun. good book :D
