Sitation and quote help?

i am writing a essay On Anthem for english,

and i have to use quotes from the book in my writing

how do i include these quotes?

is the only thing i have to do is put them in quotations?

When making reference to a citation (otherwise known as a "quote"), it is best to include the original source or author.

It is usual to use the author's name in the lead-in sentence to the quote.  Here's an example.

   Rand's description on page 78 is particularly apt: "The tree repeated itself a dozen times in the rippled stream."

Can't find that line on page 78?  Small wonder, since I made it up just to show you the format of a quotation.
