uhm... an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by a force...

like....

lets say you throw a ball itll keep moving in a straight line..

u might say no...

but the reason is because it is acted upon by a force

that force being gravity.. ,wind resistence.. etc.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

so  for example if you jump off a boat into an ocean and swim to shore the boat goes away from shore

F = ma: the net force on an object is equal to the mass of the object multiplied by its acceleration

or....

FORCE = MASS times ACCELERATION

not really an example here..
