Go to Monster.com and look around the site.  You will find a link to Interviewing techniques.  Choose the interview of your choice -- depending on your profession.

Here are a couple of examples off the Monster Board for an HR professional:

-- What is your past experience in human resources?

For the past eight years, I have been working in human resources. I have a solid understanding of HR procedures because of a certificate program I completed. I'm very tolerant of people and have been told that this is one of my strengths. I feel I have a lot to offer as a team member.

(Gives good idea of skills you have and how that will benefit company.

-- Tell me about the most difficult assignment you had in your last job

I had to explain and sell the concept of managed care to the employees. They were used to an insurance program that allowed them to see any doctor and be reimbursed at 80 percent. It was quite a transition, and they weren't happy with the concept. I held meetings to discuss the details with each group. It took a lot of explaining, but eventually they were resigned to a new way of life. A lot of planned communication made the difference.

(Giving specific example of how it was handled let your employer know how you work.  It demonstrates ability to communicate difficult information.  The process is important, not the result.)
