Sitebuilder Index page problems con't?

I tried to do some of the things that were previously suggested.

1. I tried to copy everything into a folder in another location as a back up. I was not able to do this for some reason. Mostly because it seemed like I was not allowed to actually "move" the files. I think this is mostly due to my lack of understanding of PCs AND Yahoo not wanting me to "loose" my website.

2. I decided to do a computer search for "index" and found quite a few. I realized I had couple of other sites listed in the main YSB start area. Months ago, it was my attempt to make a new site. So I looked at 1 and it did indeed have the "home page" next to it. I renamed it. Then I went to another site folder and found another highlighted "home page", and renamed that. I thought that if I renamed them in the other (unused/unfinished) site folders, then it would eventually recognize the ONLY "index.html" in the site folder that I DO want to use. But no.

I also uninstalled and reinstalled YSB, but still no go.

  1. When you updated your index page, did you start all over?  In other words, did you open a new page and move your content from the old to the new and make your updates?

Have you checked your navigation bar?  What file is listed as your index page? (This may not have a thing to do with it, just a thought, because with YSB, you never know.)

Have you emailed Y about this?  The phone techs are the pits, but the email guys have always helped me.
