Sites of opera/classical singing auditions?

Question

Anybody know any good sites that will give you singing auditions and competitions in your area for opera/classical music? I've tried many sites that people have suggested, but all I seem to find is musical theater etc. I'm on the East Coast of the USA

I'm on the east coast too and I have the same problem!!  Is classicalsinger.com one of the ones you've tried?  That is what all my voice teachers, who are classical singers, recommend.  I can't remember anything else right now but if it comes to mind I'll let you know.  Please tell me if you have any luck with anything else!

Ugh.. I'm in the same boat... opera is by far more challenging to sing, and sooo under appreciated by the masses. let me know if you find anything! good luck to you!
