Sitting my driving test?

Hi, i`m due to sit my driving test for the first time in 4 weeks, the problem is that its at 8.20 in the morning and as i normally take my lessons later then this, around 10 or 11 i`m a bit worried that the traffic will be really busy with people travelling to work etc, i dont want to cancel as i`ll loose my test and money apparently because i`ve already cancelled twice, my instructor says to just go for it and if i dont pass this time then at least we`ll knoww hat to work on for the next time.

Should i just go for it and do you think the time of day makes any difference?

  1. I think you should just go for it. It might be busier than you are used to, but if you take care and don't rush things you should be fine!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. to be honest, time or traffic are nothing to do with a test, they pass tests in the west end of london.

if you are ready for your test go for it. if however you doubt your capabilities then hold back and go later, it is not a race, your instructor ill advised you also. " if you fail go for it again" that quote should have never been said, the correct quote would be,

"of coarse you can pass, time of day is not an issue, i have taught you well and know you can do this" at least that is what i say to my pupils,

good luck and go for it, if you feel ok

  3. You will not be able to break the speed limit if it is busy, there's a bonus. Also you'll be more alert and aware of the stuff all around you. Have a good nights sleep and you will be fine. Driving is driving whatever the time of day. ;-)

  4. ask ur instructor to take you out a couple of times a bit earlier than normal and see how things are then. your entitled to ask :D good luck with passing. wish you all the best :D

  5. I was in a similar situation to you just a few days ago. I would suggest booking a few lessons around about 8-9 between now and then to get used to the time.

    Good luck on your test.

  6. just go for it.

you are working up into anxiety, just worrying.

Commit to the date, and time, and go.

  7. Yes, it may be a little busier. Why not book a lesson beforehand so you can experience the traffic in the morning or better still have a lesson just before the lesson where you drive around a little and get relaxed and used to it being slightly busier than you're used to. Honestly, if you're ready for your driving test then you have nothing to worry about. Your instructor wouldn't put you in for your test if he wasn't confident. Good luck - you'll be fine!

  8. Go for it! I had an early test too and just sat in traffic for most of it...so I saw that as a bonus, less to do!!

    Good luck!!
