Sittingbourne: Owners Bonus Series Final – Preview (Part 1)
The high-voltage ‘Owners Bonus Series Final’ race is going to be held tomorrow, February 4 at Sittingbourne greyhound racing track. With prize money worth of £500, it will be a Grade A3 race on 480m flat course. The event, which is likely to draw a
big bankroll, will start at 20:36.
The six lined-up runners, who will compete for the top title, are as follows:
1: Make Em Smile
2: Verdun Rosie
3: Aye Mister
4: Norths Apache
5: Westmead Oceana
6: Jolie Jo
Now, we take a keen look on the portfolios of all the above hounds in a bid to determine who will do what in tomorrow’s clash. Based on the prominent career figures and key skills of each of the six, this analysis will beneficial for the interested
bookmakers.
Make Em Smile
Trained by S Mavrias, the three-year-old b***h has been on top of her game since the last couple of months. The white and black racer grabbed two glorious victories in a row in December, 2011. However, she finished fifth in both of the races she ran
in the first month of the New Year.
The daughter of Head Bound, out of Goodlucknow started her career on May 18, 2010. Right from the outset, the brilliant b***h has been winning consistently. In her short career, she has accomplished 8 triumphs so far. This shows that Make Em Smile,
after breaking from trap 1, will potentially fight for the top spot in the weekend’s contest. She has approximately 80 percent chances to stay at the top, provided she utilises her inherent stamina well.
Verdun Rosie
Trained by R Brain, the black b***h has not won a single race since August, 2011. Her long losing streak consisting of 16 consecutive defeats has badly eroded her confidence and fighting spirit. The young hound has rendered incapable of big battles.
In the early days of her career which began on August 17, 2010, the daughter of Black Shaw, out of Keanes Pride had been an impressive victor, but her career derailed after a few loses. Overall, she has won 7 races so far. Apparently, the b***h is
not likely to unleash enough resistance to bid for the win, but the possibility of her finishing second cannot be ruled out as she has always been uncertain.
Aye Mister
Since June 2011, the D Puddy trained hound has won just one race, but lost many with big margins. The fawn and white dog was 9 to 4 favourite in his second last race, but he finished fourth. As a whole, his career records are excellent. Making his
debut on July 12, 2010, he has achieved 11 triumphs so far.
Though the son of Groovy Stan, out of Agincourt Snow has been a little out-of-form since the last couple of months, but he is still a sturdy runner, who will be competing for the first position in tomorrow’s race. He has sixty percent chances to make
a breakthrough. The dog was whelped in April, 2009.
