I got in a major blow-out fight with my parents, so I was upset and when I texted my best friend that I needed him, he pointed out I hadn't called him back in three days, and that now he knew why and told me to "go be in a bad mood now." I know right? So I texted him that I was foolish to think he'd be there for me in the same way I've been there for him all those times, and he didn't text me back 'til way later and texted me 4 long messages saying "and how can u say im not there for u" blah blah blah, so do you think that as a Cancer guy, he was more hurt OR offended by my text?

  1. I think you should ring him up and talk to him, nothing beats talking, especially not texting.

  2. He was offended.

And also you both are being really dramatic. What is it with texting? Why cant you phone him and talk to him on the phone.

Things are much better settled in person then over a text message.

  3. Cancer people are very sensitive but they don't want others to know it.

I think he wasn't offended but hurt and felt bad for texting you the slightly rude message.

  4. that couldve been an advice from him. you have to give him the benefit of doubt, cuz it was texting. certain expressions and the actual context of the circumstances can lose its intended meaning, and becomes misunderstood.

he came off as annoying to you, but actually he had a sterling intention which meant like, go, sort yourself out first, when you're feeling a bit leveled, come back to me. it could also be, at the time you that texted him, he wasnt emotionally available to lend an ear to you.

cancers when listening to problems, we empathize deeply and practically hear-and-feel-you-in and out, up and down, sideways, etc. and, AND....we can remember your story down to the nitty gritty details, for yearsss. if you just wanna be sure, try giving him a heads up, you'll be surprised to discover whats still in his memory.

so, id honestly find it insulting for my best friend to say such things (though i never have been in this situation before), and would say exactly the same things your best friend said to you.

  5. He might of been both
