They say everyone on the planet is separated by 6%. Who are you connected to and how did you get there.

the original study had only about a 9% completion rate of all subjects studied. The "6 degrees" was an average of the few successfully completed tests, not the maximum amount. Check out last months Discover Magazine.

I know lots of peeps all over the globe.  I am only one person away from both GW Bush and the Ayatollah of Iran, if you can believe that.  (Very different kinds of friends are connected directly to each...I'm sure you can imagine!)

I am two peeps from the psycho dictator of Sudan.  (another friend's connexns)

I am one, two, or three peeps from most scientists and authors, LOL.  Two or three peeps from most religious leaders.  Being in a multi-racial multi-national family gives me lots of foreign peeps, lol.

I think that Leslie is a little confused about your question, but it is a little broad. We are connected to many people.....the list could go on and on. Are you asking if maybe we are connected to a well known person, as in a celebrity or something along those lines and how was the connection made? Is this what you're asking?

Each human has a slight genetic difference in their DNA. That difference is responsible for the variety of people. I don't think it's 6% though. That's too much. Don't primates share almost 97 or 98% identical DNA?
