Question:

Six Flags New England??

I'm going to Six Flags New England on Saturday with a couple of friends.

I went a little while ago and the only big rides I got to go on were Superman, Pandemonim, and Thunderbolt. I also went on Catwoman's Whip but that wasn't that big.

Does anybody have any suggestions of really fun rides that are really worth going on?

I also have a friend who is going that doesn't really like big rollercoasters. She likes them, but not too big ones. Does anybody have any suggestions of what rides you think she would like?

Thanks so much!

  1. Some of the best thrills from coasters and rides are at Six Flags New England, check them out.

    Catapult

This, the park's second ride from S&S Power, is a ride that is not unlike a giant fly swatter, flipping riders head first as it tumbles end over end.

Scream! claims its title as the only S&S Triple Tower Complex in the northeast. Its white structure stands more than 205 feet tall and drops/launches riders about 205 feet...

Tomahawk is a HUSS Frisbee which is an original of which all other brands imitate. Tomahawk's ride cycle is made up of a combination of swinging a spinning; a wild ride...

Nightwing is a first-of-its-kind HUSS Fly Away which was built in 2000 when the park was branded with the Six Flags name...

Twister is one of the common HUSS Top Spins. On Twister, you sit in a huge gondola which is mounted between to arms which can rotate together forwards and backwards...

Time Warp was also a first-of-its-kind Vekoma Air Jumper. It consists of two gondolas that rotate in opposite directions until you're making a full 360° circle through the sky...

Double Trouble is another ride manufactured by Chance. It is very fun but is also very painful on the legs because of the tight restraints. There are two gondolas side by side and, because of the fact it never has a line, only one operates at a time...

Kontiki is a great "Himalaya" type ride that is indoors. It is African themed and is pretty fun. They say that is runs backwards in the park map but this only actually happened in '99 when the ride debuted...

Buzzsaw is a HUSS Magic Carpet ride. It swings back and forth parallel to the ground with gut wrenching accelerations providing extreme airtime and positive g's...

And for your friend, I really can't say what rides she would like. It's more of a look at it and decide wether or not that's for her or not. I hope this helps man, have a fun time.

  2. It has been a while, but I thought "Mind Eraser" was a fun ride
