  1. we were there the year that there was that big black out.  we were going to wait on line for the superman ride, but it was too long.  if we had waited, we would have been stuck on the ride during the black out, and that  would have been scary.  i also remember on the safari a giraffe put his head into the window of the car in front of us and they freaked out, but it serves them right for opening their window!

  2. Mine is going to Six Flags over Texas when I was a little girl in the 60's.  It had great rides, but it also had a really creative atmosphere.  They really did a great job of having themes for each country.  I loved the canoe ride, skull island with a giant skull you could climb in and slide out of the eye socket, stage coach ride, the "spee-lunkers" cave ride, the giant oil derrick with a giant slide, the barrel that would spin and the bottom dropped out, and lots more that isn't there anymore.  The log ride and the runaway mine train were my favorites.  We used to go on it over and over.  The lines must have been shorter then!  I also loved staying in the Inn of the Six Flags.  They had a little bus that would drive you to Six Flags.  I'm feeling old right about now!!

  3. Tatsu... is the best ride ever. I was there when the ride first took off with the first group of people took off on this amazing ride...

  4. Definetly Batman and Robin: The Chiller. Best ride I have ever been on (including Kingda Ka which is the world's fastest and tallest coaster). Sadly my favorite ride was ripped away from Great Adventure before the Batman side of the ride could ever re-open with it's new track design.

  5. the raging bull.

when i was 8 i balled my eyes out slowly clinking up the big "hill" lol. but when we started to go down i freaked and screamed really loud. after all it was the funnest ride i ever went on. it was so awesome. =]]]]]

    loved it!

  6. well, my worst memory was when i was on deja vu when it holds you up in the air, my brand new tiffany's headband fell off :[[

  7. Our school goes there every year, and i have a lot of good memories, skipping a day of school and hanging out with friends =]

  8. medusa!

  9. The first time I ever rode Superman Ride of Steel in Six Flags New England! I was with my dad and my two friends. We were all wicked nervous but none of us would let the others know how nervous we were until we were strapped into the ride! That was the first time I have ever seen my dad even a little scared of something. After the first drop I felt so great and started screaming "I DID IT!!!" and putting my hands in the air. I have the ride photo on my wall! Sooo great!

and a not so great memory...

The second time i went on Superman (same park) the ride stopped when we were  half way up the hill. The first thing i thought was we are gonna roll backwards and crash and die!! Everyone was screaming for an explanation and the workers were announcing things on the intercom but we couldnt understand what they were saying. We were just sitting there for like 15 loong scary minutes. then finnally the woman climbed up the stairs attached to the railing with a rope and we all started saying take us down we want off!!

it ended up that the people in the first row had a camera and they stopped the ride on purpose to take the camera away so it wouldnt kill anyone. Im glad they stopped it but it was soooo scary.
