Six Nations; Should we run it as a two tiered competition?

With two similtanious copmpetitions with One containing the Wales, Scotland, France, Ireland England and Italy and played as normal, whilst the second contains another six European national teams, for example Romania, Georgia, Russia, Spain, Portugal, and Germany. The winner of this lower competition would play against the 'Big Boys' in the next tournament and the Wooden Spoon from the main comp would get to play with the minnows.

It would probably result in the Wooden spoon team coming back the next year, but it would encourage the smaller teams, provide revenue and coverage and now that Italy isnt a guaranteed Wooden Spoon every year, add some veriety.

  1. theres already a 2nd tier competition but they dont qualify for six nations i think that we should because it will make teams that are coming last play for something rather than nothing
