Six flags nervousness?

Question

hey so im afraid of heights and i heard six flags was all about heights and in several days i will be going on a class trip so can you guys give me some advice

are there some moderate rides? not very scary ones lol

you did not specify which six flags you are going to, so to answer the question you should specify which park you are going to. but all the six flags have not very scary rides in the kiddie land!!!LOL

Well, I feel the same way as you, i am scared of heights, but even though some rides are high up, doesn't really mean it will be fast and scary.

If you are talking about Six Flags: Great Adventure then you are in luck.

Superman: Ulitimate Flight is a great ride that seems that you are going to go really fast because of how high you seem to be, but the twist of being on your stomach in a flying position distracts you from the height, this is definately a ride you should take.

Medusa: It may go up high, but the first drop is not straight down, so you don`t get the full effect of falling, you go down on a sideways angle, i think you should ride this too, no question.

Rolling Thunder & Runaway Mine Train: They are both fun rides that don`t have huge drops to take, but are still fun!

Skull Mountain: This is a great ride that does not have high drops either, but it is in the dark! Which is a great thrill.

  

El Toro, Kingda Ka, Nitro: These rides you should probably not take unless you somehow overcome your fear of heights

A very good ride is the runaway train and thunder mountain they have some nice log flumes too!

I am going to six flags new england next week, my problem is can i do every single ride in one day? Lolz i always wanted to go to great adventure, i have a HUGE phobia of heights but i love rollercoasters, just work your way up from really small rollercoasters to bigger ones. unless you get sick then just stay on small ones.

The rides are amazing! If you dont like heights close your eyes but still go on the roller coasters, it is worth it. It is over in less than a minute so dont worry about it. once you go on it for the first time you will again! just dont eat before you goon superman! haha :]  (Check the website and it tells you about all of the rides)

Y0o0o0o avoid raging bull thts like the best ride their and its super tall, if you want a fast short right take batman, superman isnt tht scary attsept 1st drop im still nervous about that. Their is one my favorite roller coaster american eagle it has a huge huige 1st drop but thts it, theirs iron wolf a standing one.(I advise you not to go on that one) Than theirs Demon not scary at all but when u loopty loop it hurts ur head. VIPER YOU NEED TO TAKE MAN THAT IS LIKE AMERICAN EAGLE BUT INSTEAD OF ONE GIANT DROP ITS LIKE HALF A BILLION SMALL DROPS PERFECT FOR YOU(p.s im talking about six flags great america in chicago)

can you specify which six flags you are going to. it really depends because a six flags can be almost a family park or (like six flags magic mtn.) be filled with intensity and g forces. But in general there are gonna be a few moderate ones. look at www.sixflags.com and they seperate the thrills from moderate rides in a helpful organized list.

in my opinion nitro's the best. medusa would probably be good for someone who is afraid of heights because there are no huge drops. i went on alot of rides like it but never went on medusa. rolling thunder is good to start off with. I was scared when i got to the park but rolling thunder took away all my fears. kingda ka i would never go on. also go on runaway mine train if you are afraid. it's like in the midle between kiddie rides and adult rides.
