  1. yes

  2. I live 5 mins from the one in Illinois....so I dont know specifically for the one in NJ...but here the park is most definately open...and it actually gives our city the best fireworks show. I have never been able to go in myself...but I have heard from friends who work in the park as well as ones who just visited it that the 4th of July is a really good time to go in b/c everyone thinks it will be busy...so no one goes and it ends up not being very busy. But like I said...that is for here...so I cant say anything definate about NJ!

  3. yea its open i went a couple years ago on that date

  4. It will be open, but no fireworks. I strongly advise you avoid going to Six Flags on the fourth of july. The park will be packed as h**l and you would be lucky to get on four rides, maybe five or six. Wait times for most of their rides are 45 minutes and over.

I live about an hour away for Six Flags Magic Mountain, home of X2 the world;s first 5th dimensional roller coaster. and on the 4th it is always heavily packed. I do NOT doubt Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey will be the same.

  5. I'm sure Six Flags has a web page you can look at to get the real p**p rather than someone's opinion.  I hope you like company, I'm sure it will be crowded.
