Six flags season pass, IL?

Question

I want to buy a season pass and was wondering why the prices for each different park are different. Aren't season passes allowed to be used at any location? I live in IL where it is $90, but in other places it is $50. Could i buy that one? If not, are there any places that are selling them cheap?

I don't know why the prices are different, but on the sixflags website, it says that you can use your season pass at any of the participating 15 parks, as many times as you want, as long as you get your ID made at your home park
