Six flags when its raining? are they still open?

im planning on going to six flags new england this monday but they said that theres a chance of isolated thunderstorms

i heard they still keep it open unless its really bad and that they only close the rides for a while but how long? u think its worth it to go i dont think itll be like that all day

Yeah. The park will always stay open but the rides will close, they only close if there are big storms with lightning.

If there is inclement weather, the park and rides still operate however if there is lightning/thunder, they will close the rides until it passes. It's hard to say how long, that's up to mother nature.

the park will still be open, but i would suggest not going because its not much fun since most of the rides will be closed most of the day(and when they do open, everyone will rush to those rides since they typically close the best rides and so theyll have looooong lines and it really not worth waiting in the pouring rain for a couple of hours just to go on a one minute ride) and the open rides might hurt, a lot so i would suggest going another day, but if your fixated on going on that day, i would bring a full body raincoat like they have on the water rides in six flags california.

theres no good going during thunderstorms

i the weather is simply miserable, patchy rain and cloud all day, then you might as well go, no one else will, and queues will be very short in comparison to a sunny day!

yes Six Flags is still open when its raining, unless (like you stated) it gets really bad. I would suggest not going that day tho because I went on a ride when it was raining (it wasnt even raining that hard) and during the ride it felt like a million needles poking my body.

Man did it HURT!

they wont exatly close the park but some of the rides... also if your on a ride and its raining or even sprinkling  it kinda hurts like needles poking ur face ....like the other guy said
