The sixers just signed free agent Theo Ratliff from Detroit, do you think this does much to help the sixers become a better team?

  1. It will have more of an effect than most people would think.  He'll provide to be an excellent source of backup for Samuel Delambert and Elton Brand.  He doesnt score much, but hes a blocks machine.

  2. well, now they have a solid center to come in for samuel dalembert

  3. How many washed up old veterans are the Sixers gonna take, or take back for that matter?!  He's definitely past his prime and is also injury prone.  He's only good for about 10 minutes a game at most.

  4. no nothing much

  5. yeah i think so...Samuel Dalembert will get the minutes but it always helps to have a veteran that can block almost anything come of the bench.  He only needs like 15 minutes a game or less and he will be a stopper. The only problem is that he gets injured often.  If he stays healthy, hes a steal.

  6. not really, adding more depth if anything. ratliff is way past his prime.

  7. h**l be a good mentor for dalembert, jason smith and other bigs but they do have brand and hes good enough vetran leadership for any young big man so nah it just gives them depths and someone to put in at scrap time. tho he has always been a tremendous shotblocker and that would be an asset to any team regardless if he plays or not.

  8. nope just another body.
