Sixteen and pregnant?

i had unprotected s*x on august 26th. my friend worried me saying you can only get pregnant during ovulation so i researched and it said i ovulated on the 26th. i have always been in tune with my body so i realized that since the 26th until today I have had that stretchy mucus. my friend said im only going to ovulate the very last day of the mucus and all my sperm should be dead by now. could i have ovulated before the mucus stopped?

well ur friend dosen't know much bc u can get pregnat at any time not just during ovulation and if u r that worried about it maybe u shoulda used protection

you can get pregnant even when you are being careful. i was 15 when i had my son. it was my first time having s*x, birth control, condom, and with the guy who has the small **** in the world. And low and behold i got pregnant.

Sperm dies 3-7 days after it gets to the uturs. sometimes you are thinking so much about being pregnant that your body starts to show more sings saying you are. Stop thinking about it and wait until you have missed your period. take a test areound  6- 11th to see if you are. that is the only way to tell

but with this scare think of what you would do. keep it adoption, or abortion. i know me and my husband would love another child. but dont stress on it. your period is not here. and your friend dose not know to much on this mucus stuff. i have never heard of it.

All this talk about you "ONLY" being able to get pregnant at a certain time is completely wrong.

ANY time you have unprotected s*x,you could get pregnant. Even if you have s*x while ON your period. There are some times when it's less likely to happen, but there's ALWAYS a chance.

You need to wait to see if you get your period, especially because the mucus could be early signs of pregnancy, and if you don't get it..wait about a week, and go get a pregnancy test.

Please be more careful..unprotected s*x can lead to a lot more serious problems than pregnancy (not that it's not a big deal..especially at 16.) But you could get a sexually transmitted disease or many other kinds of infections.

You can get pregnant anytime and everyone's body is different. Everyone ovulates on different days its not one set day but I would say wait and if you don't get your menstrual then I would go to the Dr for a blood test!

have you heard of abstinence? the bible preaches it and maybe you should read up on that next time...there are things called pregnancy tests...you pee on them and they tell you yes or no...just because you ovulate and have unprotected s*x around that time does not mean you're gonna get pregnant...use a condom next time...and hopefully if you take a test it comes back negative because this country does not need another 16 year old pregnant chick that can't afford to take care of themselves independently let alone a baby...do you have parents that you can talk to about this? If so...talk to them...or talk to someone at planned parenthood...or...just don't have unprotected s*x

If you have s*x near the time of ovulation, you'll increase your chances of getting pregnant. And it looks like the odds are with you. Attempt birth control by avoiding intercourse near the time of ovulation. However, this is not the best form of birth control and it can easily fail. You can get pregnant when your not ovulating! If you don't want a baby right now, be careful! If you choose not to use any form of birth control, try plan B. Its taken after you have unprotected s*x. If you have a family planning type place, you can talk to them about getting some! Good luck!
