Question:

Sixth Sense?

Parts of my body give sign as to what will be going to happen - if right sides of my body (any parts like eyelids, arm, leg, chest etc) flutters then something good happens always. And vice versa. For example if left side of my back flutters then I know I am not going to have a good sleep in the night. And it happens so. Or say my right leg flutters, then for sure I will go for a pleasant journey. My right eye flutters and I am sure to get some good news. My left side lip flutters and I am going to have a fight. Is this what is called sixth sense?

  1. if you believe so....

  2. Normally, the sixth sense is supposed to be activated once in a blue moon. It  has not been observed to be active on a continuous basis, otherwise how can we call it sixth sense. In the  present story, it seems to be a case of superstition only.

  3. d**n....your just fluttering all over the place.

  4. Is this sixth sense?  No, it's not.  It's a superstitious imagination.

Think about it for a moment: Is this your body telling the future or is your body being clued into what will soon happen by some conscious universe that only wants you to know what's about to happen?

Your terms are a bit vague as well.  For instance, you will sleep well?  Does that mean you will only sleep well if you twitch in a certain area?  Do ten twitches mean you'll sleep ten times as well as would if you only experience one twitch?

Most of what you mention here are events that are entirely up to your subjective interpretation.  For example, if you flutter on your right side something good happens.  Well, *when* does it happen?  Does something good only happen after you experience such a flutter?

I could go on all day about this...

If this is a legitimate question, you are displaying a method of thinking that can only be called magical and irrational.

  5. While it is just interpreted that way it is not always true. Stop trying to link such things to things happening to you because you are in a way wasting your positive energy in doing so.

  6. I used to get a fluttering sensation in my stomach when my first real boyfriend was looking at another woman.... or worse. Then the next relationship over it meant that he was going to call me.... or that I would see him that night. Then much later when I got married that feeling meant that my husband would be out partying that night. Always the same sensation just different meaning for different people.  I wish you luck in honing in on the skill. I always relied on it for myself. A little extra knowledge never hurt any one, right? Don't let the others on here intimidate you , I am sure that you have had moree profound experiences than what you recounted in your question.... keep on keeping on with it, hone the skill. Be proud and do not let anyone tell you that it is less as these flutters will not go away any more than your  hunches will.

  7. No, you're talking about a Seventh Sense -- the sense of confirmation bias.

  8. it may be just a pure & simple case of simply believing what u want to believe, & just ignoring all other data to the contrary.

as u r saying flickering of right body parts brings good news, & flickering of left ones bad news, u may just be correlating them retrospectively & just ignoring those instances when it doesnt happen or it is the oppositte. u need to do , what is called as a double blind trial in scientific paralnce.

stop being ridiculous & get real.

sixth sense is not by flickering of body parts , u just know it when u have it, & it wakes up only once a while

  9. i think i have a 6th sense like wen something is about to hit me my body feels the impact or it twitches and i usually have time to get outta the way or duck like wen this dude was about to smack me the back of the head i ducked or when a bascket ball was about to hit me in the face i put my hands out and caught it maybe its fast reflexes but i think its a 6th sense lol

  10. i dont think it is. it maybe more on involuntary or voluntary contraction of your muscles.  you are dreaming to be a super human. believe me. unless you have a third eye on your forhead, literally.

  11. i see confused people

  12. right...................

  13. That's amazing.  The next time I have a twitch I'll pay attention as to what side of my body it came from and see if I might have a sixth sense as well.  You must be extraordinarily sensitive and cogent to have linked these experiences.
