  1. do not listen to GF D. that is stupid, exercise is way healthier than whatever that link would say

  2. nah it's not at all

i'm that size, but that's Junior sizes, they can be way different, i tried on woman sizes and was WAY smaller, like a 4. so i wouldn't worry.

  3. first of all, you are only 13. still growing, developing and things like that.

if you are worried about your weight, eat healthy. walk th (school, mall, grocery store, friends house, wherever) a set number of days a week. even just once! you can get a cheap step counter (like $3-4) at walmart. that will help you feel accomplished. wow, i walked 2 miles? burned how many calories? cool!

if you have wide hips (birthing hips, my mom called them. i come from a family of breeders!) you have to accept it. look for clothes that actually fit. avoid muffin tops (where your tummy sticks out over your waistband)

according to your BMI you are slightly overweight.

the best thing you can do is eat healthier. your body will use the fuel you put into it. if its fatty (burgers, fried foods, etc) then it will use the parts it needs and store the fat. a burger has protein and fat, your body uses the protein, and saves the fat for later. if you go out to eat, get a salad or veggies with your meal, instead of fries. if your only choice is fast food, have chicken.

at home, develop some cooking skills, buy a decent wok and whip up some stir fry. get your parents to buy edamame (baby soy beans) they are delicious and good for you. just dont eat the pod, paper cuts from h**l!

buy yogurt. it doesn't have to be nonfat or lowfat, just yogurt! personally i don't trust anything with aspartame in it, or splenda. but thats just me.

avoid prepackaged foods, they contain preservatives and usually a lot of sodium. a little sodium goes a long way.

brown bag it! use a whole grain, or wheat bread (white has all the goodness bleached out of it, and IMO the flavor too!) make a sandwich. pack some pretzels, or homemade baked fries. some carrot sticks, broccoli, or other veggies. and drink lots of water, find a nice reusable water bottle that you like, and carry it everywhere.

I am 23, 5'4" and about 120 lbs with a two year old. I am having to watch what I eat because of a thyroid condition. you can e mail me through answers if you want. when I was 13, your measurements would have labeled you fat, but nowadays you are less overweight than most. its very important to take care of your body. you can also look at "the blood type diet" and "the geno type diet" by Dr Peter D'Adamo. its got a lot of good information based on the body type you are, and what foods are the best and worst fuels. as it turns out, pork is bad for everyone. i switched to turkey bacon, and its just as good (i like jennie o) and only have pork occasionally. if you understand what is going into your body, it will be easier to decide what is best.

hope i helped, like i said, shoot me an email if you want

  4. yea you are fat sorry try to lose weight

  5. Ew lose some weight.

  6. at 5'2", you are a LITTLE TINY BIT bigger then you should be. Saying that, you have to remember you are only thirteen! Here soon, you may shoot up 6 inches in one year, and then you will be the perfect weight. Honestly, if you are younger then 18, you should not worry about weight (unless you are seriously obesse). Kids and teenagers go through major growth spurts, and especially at your age, it is important to be in good health and actually have some meat on your bones.

If you are worried about being fat, just watch what you eat. Try to limit the amount of sugar you take in. Dont eat a whole bag of oreos for dessert. At the same time, do not limit yourself to a small salad and two french fries. Eat healthy but eat what fills you up, and just stay active. DO NOT EXCERCISE. The wrong kinds of excercise at your age are very bad for your body.Just remain active. Go for bikerides with your friends. Play soccer or some other fun sport. Go swimming a lot. Be a kid, and your weight will be fine.

EDIT: I'm 19, am 5'8", and fluctuate between 135-145 lbs. I am the PERFECT weight for my height. When I was 14, I was only 5'4". When I turned 15, I was 5'7". I grew almost 4 inches in less then a year! So again, don't worry!

  7. You're fine!

A 9 is PERFECT and you're not fat at all!

Don't let anyone tell you that!

    =)

  8. your ideal weigh should be around 115 or 120. 2 inches protruding out? I have more than that (Ihad a baby) and I'm a 3....same height. You may have a bigger structure and carry it well, but you could stand to lose probably 10 pounds. I wouldn't call you fat though.

  9. Don't worry about it! As long as YOU think you look great then it's fine! I'm 5'6'' and a few sizes bigger than you, I also have a bit of a tummy but I still feel beautiful and because of that others see me as beautiful. Just be happy with you and don't worry about size :)

  10. You are fine. Don't worry about it, trust me, if you were fat, you would probably know. Enjoy your young years. Eat healthy, exersize, have fun, and don't worry about your size.

  13. To be honest you are a little heavy-sounding.  Just watch what you eat - your metabolism is still fast (you are young) but once you get a little older (18-20) your metabolism will slow down - most girls gain some weight at this point and then are very angry.  Maybe losing 10 lbs wouldn't hurt you - after all, 142 lbs for a 13 year old sounds a little heavy to me - but check with a doctor before you do any sort of diet.
