  1. Has to be snowboarding, its alot more fun.I used to ski and did this for a number of years but once i took some snowboard lessons i was hooked. Most ppl who go from skiing to boarding stick with the boarding.

Whatever you choice make sure you wear a helmet this is a vital piece of equipment especially when you are learning

  2. I would deffentally say SNOWBOARDING

i go to villa olvia (ya its barely a hill)

but i get around when i can

  3. i'm a full out boarder

  4. I'm a boarder.. But if you never have done snowboarding before it takes some practice.

  5. ski, You can do cooler tricks, which are easier to land and you can ski moguls easily. Skiing has a much wider variety of grabs and old school tricks. Skiing switch is also a cooler looking than boarding switch. Don't forget poles, I have no idea what snowboarders do on catwalks without poles or being able to "skate".

  6. I prefer skiing beacause with the proper bindings I can go up mountains into the backcountry with them as well without having to take my board off. I've also skiied my whole life so I'm better at it. I ride in Rossland B.C. at Red Mountain. Sweet hill and great ski town.

  7. I SkI

  8. I prefer a snowboard

  9. I prefer skiing (twin tip) because not only can you do SiCk tricks, you can shoot down the mountain faster than any boarder, but i still do both..

  10. I prefer to ski the Colorado Rockies at such places as Winter Park, Breckenridge, Vail & Keystone. They are all excellent & they're close to the Denver airport for quick transfers. I grew up on snow skis & I started even before they made snowboards so I've never switched ove since I've bcome an excellent skier. If you're a beginner, I would suggest renting equip. & trying out both skis & snowboards & see which one you like better. Some people do both. Also, you can always find a package deal at the ski resort that includes rental equip., lesson & lift ticket. If this is your first time, I would suggest a lesson & they offer group lessons which are very cheap. You can usually get a rental, lift ticket & lesson for not much over $50.00 pp., depending on where you go. Also, check out your local ski area for special days where you get a deal on rentals, lessons & lift tickets.

  11. I skied since I was 4 until I was 12. I sarted snowboarding when I was 13 but I now do both and enjoy them equally.
