Skate boarding query?

Question

Any of you out there ever skate board? I didn't, but someitmes when I see a film with some tricks in it wish i did. Is it really as good as all that?

My kid has one and I have tried it but am not that good. Have bruises to prove that.

yaa i like to skateboard in my spear time go to ccs.com and buy i board and try it

I don't skate but i do wakeskate, and am actually better at it than my friends who come from a skating background.
