Skate dresses and tights.?

Question

Hey. I just got a dress. Does any one now where to get the patterns from for free of the internet to make them. And which brand of footed tights are the thickest. I have bunty shinny tights, they dint seem too thick, Also will the streacj a bit as when i try a spiral they feel limited so far, they are brand new and are a size bigger then iam, so do they need a bit of wear 1st.

my fave kind of tights are mondor, the thickest one, because they are really warm and really stretchy.  Good luck!!

I haven't started wearing dresses / tights yet, but my coach recommended Danskin to me (and they describe their skating tights as heavyweight, so should be quite thick!).  Mondor are also very popular.

From when I was training in ballet, tights were slightly restrictive the first time wearing them, but soon stretched out.  It may be that your tights aren't long enough?

And about patterns - I haven't found any free ones, but there quite a few to buy, and they are not too expensive.

I always wear 'mondor heavy weight  footless skating tights' but i do know that you can get ...

'mondor heavy weight skating tights'  which are footed - you can get these for both under and over boots.

They are heavy weighted and do keep your leggies lovely and  warm when you're skating away.

it really is great to see you're keeping up with it!

I always wear Mondor tights.

I wear a pair of footed ones and then another pair that are either stir ups or cut- offs

It works best for me.

Also I don't think you could get any GOOD patterns for free off of the internet but I would try searching on google!!
