Skateboard hardware?

Question

i stripped the 6/8 nuts on my mounting hardware that attaches the deck to the trucks, will i have to pay for a shop to get the nuts off and repair, and could i possibly need new trucks.

New hardware is like 2 dollars and i like silver a class trucks i have some and i love them .

If you have a hacksaw and there is a gap between the nit and basep[late, saw it off.  You can also drill out the head of the bolt.  Use the same size bit as the shaft of the bolt.  Drill it from the top of the board .  It will come off once you get through the head.  

If you don't  have the right tools, I doubt a skate shop will charge you for taking off the old bolt and nut.  

The skate shop should sell you just one bolt and nut for about $1.00, you can also get a set  at a hardware store for about the same price.
