  1. what im getting from what you wrote was that your trucks are too stiff?if thats whats happening then just loosen them with a wrench or that one tool with a hole in it,i forget the name..the only way of getting used to an 8-incher is to get on it and ride like everyday.

    oh&and nice trucks.

  2. OK, your trucks are too tight.  What the person that sold you the trucks is that they need to be broken in.  It is recommended to be done with all trucks, it must be done with Indys to prevent the bushings from blowing.  Back the nut off to factory position.  The end for the kingpin will be flush with the nut.  The bushings will tighten up after use.  Skate on them for 2 or 3 good skate sessions before tightening them up to your liking.  If the bushings have become deformed or have cracked through, then they have already blown and you will need to get a new set.

It shouldn't take more than a few sessions to get used to a wider board.  Most people that skate wider boards don;t often go back to narrower ones.

  3. Maybe your screws aren't tight enough,if that's not the problem try loosening your trucks because if there too tight they'll do that.

As for getting used to 8inch,I've never skated 8inch because I don't like em but I have gone from 7.75 to 7.5 a lot and what I do is not do any tricks,I just go out and find some ramps and skate (usually at parks) and just skate until I feel comfortable with it
