Skateboard wheels unable to go forward for more than 5 seconds?

ok i have a skateboard, the deck is in good shape, and so are the trucks, but the wheels just do'nt go forward for more than 5 seconds.. they just get stuck and stop. Its been like that for a long time. I stopped using it because of that. But I think it has something to do with the board setup. What can I do to fix it? Its pretty much brand new. I used it about 15 times, but got fed up with having to put my foot down every 2 feet to push it along.

Loosen the nut in front of the wheel about a quarter turn or less.  This should give the wheel more room to spin.

I think you should get some new bearings for the wheels. If you get one of those walmart boards or a cheap place like that you made the wrong choice. their boards suck!!!! i say take out the bearings clean them and see if that works, if not get some new bearings! =)
