Skateboarder bro?

Question

I skate and my 2 year old bro has watched me and loves to stand on it on the rug.I was wonderin if 3 was old enough for his first or if i should wait till 4 or 5.

At age three, children really don't have the best balance.  I'd wait until he's at least 8.

The Skateboard is not a toy.

Yeah but you'll have to start him off on one of those real crappy plastic things rather than a pro.

Also the whole helmet and knee pad things may not work for you but they have to work for him for the time being.  If hes three and breakes a bone it could be alot more serious rather than a 13 year old doing it.(hes bones havent hardened yet)

sure jus try. make sure he wears a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads and right now you might want to hold on to him while he is "skateboarding"

Make sure he is heavily padded and helmeted, and have your mother make that decision not you because head injuries can be horrid. Two is a good age to scoot, I am sure that the skating will come with time and your love.
