  1. get comfortable on your board again ~~~~ & practice, practice practice.

  2. the secret to skateboarding is to have fun... ;)

  3. jsut start skating around get the feel of the board again. once you can skate with control you need to do some simple skill drills. like the kickturn. It's simply balancing on your back to wheels and truning with your front two. and learn the lean turn. jsut lean to the side you wanna go to. tehn you can go onto more advanced tricks like the ollie. the ollie is simply popping your tail down and sliding your foot up to the nose

this will get you in the air. once you can do that move on to kickflips and more advanced tricks. and maybe in a few years you will be sponsored by element or something (if you pracice hard enough) LOL and good luck

  4. well its really important that u get comfortable on your board. so just ride around and get the feel of it. then u can start to learn some simple tricks. the first i learned was the ollie. the shuv it is also fairly easy and the rail stand. just take it easy and dont do anything that u dont feel ready for. hope i helped!!!  and practice makes perfect!

  5. Hey, I'm new on here but I will try give you some help (even though its over the internet haha.)

First thing is to get a good reliable set-up. Make sure your trucks are good for you as well and aren't to tight or loose.

First try get comfortable on your board like try standing up on it on carpet first (unless your not that new to it that you can roll around already and what not) Then try rolling around on smooth and FLAT concrete.

If you are wanting to learn ollies and carving on ramps for one I would begin practicing ollies on the carpet or on the grass to prevent the board coming out from underneath you. Then maybe take it to concrete and then perhaps start rolling THEN maybe over obsticles.

The thing is not too rush yourself into tricks you may not at the time know are too hard for you or 'out of your legue' because I have and i've broken/dislocated bones and that kinda sucks. The best things are to have fun, dont be too serious or try be gnarly, be with a good crew of skaters, wear protective gear if not too confident and just start with basics!

I'll just leave it there or this might go on forever, I hope i've given you some insight into maybe skating  biy more "wiser" you could say.

  6. Well, learning how to balance is easy enough...just keep rolling and you'll get it soon enough (no more than a week if you're really into it.)

Once you've got your balance, I would start off with the simple techniques like shov its, ollies, 360, etc.
