  1. it takes a while of practice to get a good ollie

    the ollie is simple...

    get comfortable

bend your knees (not too low)

keep your weight in the center of your board (dont lean)

pop your tail and when you hear it pop you wanna be jumping and sliding your front foot towards the bolts

foot positioning...front foot in the middle and back foot square on the tail :)

i recommend looking at transworld starting point 1. pro's give in-depth trick tips on the basics

  2. The ollie really takes time, practice, and TIMING!  Snap the tail of the board down hard, drag your front foot to the nose, and jump.  Maybe this video will help.

    10 points please.

  3. pop the tail like a mnuel then slide ur foot to the opposite end go on youtube and search how to ollie that will help good luck

  4. well for the ollie, you are definantly going to want to know how to ride.

Place your back foot, with the ball of the foot on the middle of the tail.

Place your front foot an inch or two behind the front bolts, in the center of the board. Generally, the farther back (toward the tail) your front foot is, the higher you will Ollie.

just stay over your board, bend your knees, and just slam down as hard as you can with your back foot (literally, as hard as u can slam, dont be afraid), right when u slam, your going to want to jump off your back foot, and drag your front foot up,across the board, then suck in your knees ,then catch the board in the air, and extend your legs, then right when u hit the floor, bend your knees to absorb the impact..

I would reccomend learning it on the grass/carpet first, then when u feel comfortable, do it on the concrete.

Don't worry, everyone goes through this stage, good luck skating..

    :p

  5. Don't worry bro, this trick takes some time...Trick is as soon as you slam down slide your foot up on the board and it will even out, hold that position as you come back down..don't worry it took me a while to just keep your cool. xD
