ok, so i know how to ride a ripstik...but i think i wanna learn to skateboard, but i'm not sure, because then i wont use my ripstik and thats wasted money.

so

1. should i learn?

2. how?

Rip Stick or whatever is c**p. You probably payed to much for it. Just go to your local shop and get the cheap stuff and learn to ride that.

i ripstik too. I also skateboard.

I would say learn to skateboard.

FInd a guy friend or any friend who skates and ask them to teach you.

Just wear a helmet because i broke my arm when i learned cause i was so used to the ripstik.

It wont be a waste of money. Change each day.

Ride your ripstik one day skateboard the other. (:

yea you should. Skateboarding is way more fun than a rip stick. But skating is WAY harder than learning to ride a rip stick. And anyone can learn to ride a ripstick in like a day. But skating takes a long time to learn how to do anything.

Skateboarding takes a lot of dedication, time, talent, and money. Most girls aren't good at skateboarding because they can't stick with it, or just because they start thinking it's dumb after a while. I'm sure you're doing it because it's "cool" like basically everyone that tries to skate. BUT, you won't be able to ollie for probably 3 weeks? And that's just an ollie. And a good complete board should cost around $130.00. And, a ripstik is not a freaking skateboard. It's a tool 7 year olds use to make themselves look cool.

well, its easier to learn tricks on a skateboard then on a ripstick. However if i were you, i would use my ripstick one week and my skateboard the next week. they are both fun but i really dont like to twist so i ride my skateboard instead. also i fall less on my skateboard then on a ripstick.
