i am a very energetic competative figure skater and I NEED MUSIC!!! i am in pre-juv and i need artistic and freeskate music. the freeskate must be wordless and the artistic can definatly have words. i am not so much into the regular classical. i like twists on classical (last year i did a funky version of ode to joy--it sounds like it would be wierd. but it wasnt--i liked it.) I also like just some different stuff--not to out there but different from everyone elses music. i hope i explained this well enough. so please help!!! and serious answers only please

    Some suggestions would be:

*(01:29) Walter Murphy - Fifth of Beethoven 00149

    *(01:31) Furelise Dance Mix 00096

    *(01:37) ELO - Fire On High 00148

    *(01:39) Bond 00124

    MusicGuru

  2. search itunes,google,yahoo, ex.

  3. Bond is a really good choice. Also any movie you can think of have soundtracks.

  4. techno (cascada is great and different), ice princess, titanic, disney movies=)

  5. most skaters choose classical so mix it up and choose something different

  6. Just some "albums" you might want to check out if you like twists on classical music (Amazon is great so you can hear samples from all the pieces!).  Fun to listen to anyway . . . though some of these might be too "twisted" - hee hee!!

  7. Fifth of Beethoven - Walter Murphy

it's a funky version of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.

I was going to skate to it but my coach didn't think it was right for me.

But it's super cool! I hope you like it.

Here's a link so you can listen to it.
