Skating without skate shoes?

I dont like them...Could i still be pro without them?

If you're gunna skate you better have some nice grippy skate shoes.

Use common sense, you're not gunna go pro without using the necessary gear.

u can skate without them i do but is not really that good just try finding some that are conferable for you cause they last longer and make it kind of easier to skate

You really need to find you a pair that you like because its gonna be 10x harder to skate without them,because they have better grip and are made to do tricks easier

the grip tape will wear down the sides of your shoes. skate shoes are thick to prevent that. so unless you want to buy new shoes all the time i would stick to skate shoes.

well let me tell you a story when I skated with out skate shoes, I was going down this really big hill and my feet were not sticking to the board and I got thrown off and did a flip onto the concrete and got big cuts on my elbows and knees and on my side. and a huge bruise on my side.

I don't recommend it.
