I resently went out for a day of skiing and ended up having to give my goggles a wipe down due to swet and fogging up. What happend was that i wiped to hard on the inside and smeared the anit fog coating on my Dragon Mase goggles. Is there any way to fix this to have them look crystal clear like when i bought them? or any ski/board shop fix this problem?

  1. Yes, you should never touch the inside of the lens - the anti-fog coating can get damaged. You could try to find an anti-fog spray to replace the original but you would have to remove all of the old stuff which probably isn't possible without damaging the lens.

    1. You could get a new lens from the manufacturer.

    2. You could also get all new goggles. If your current goggles are not dual lens I would suggest new ones. You can see that the lens is actually two layers with a separator between layers. For around $40 on sale you can get some nice Bolle goggles.

    3. If you want to fix the anti-fog coating, you can try to smooth it. Remove the lens, mist it with water then cover it with a smooth plastic of some kind and use something to roll it flat against the anti-fog coating. Let it sit for a while and try to pull off the plastic to leave a smoothed out layer of coating. I have done this successfully in very small areas but I'm sure it depends on what kind of coating is used on your lens.

    Good Luck

  2. just get new goggles, by the time you pay for all of that junk it will just be as much as new goggles, get some smith fuse or electrics, either are nice and not expensive really... anti fog also, i mean yeah you could get some oakleys but then id hate you... just kiddin but whatever
