  1. My brother was a ski instructor in Andorra for 5 years - he went out to Andorra first for a season working in a bar and skiied all day(he had had about ten weeks skiing before) then the following year he went on the course. They like you to do a season before you enroll on the course for your own confidence.

  2. Depends on where you want to teach

I teach on a dry slope in england, we look for about 5 years experience.....

  3. as far as i know in France you have to a very good skier and then ski for 2 full season every day that and then do the the coarse

you could try guiding first i don't think u need any qualifications for that just ski fast and hard good fun

this link is for older people

  4. it doesnt matter you can get a instructor at any level

  5. it depends on how many hours you ski each week. :P

i would recommend looking up your countries ski instructor association website and checking out the criteria. usually it is very specific and some sites even have videos to compare yourself to.

also keep in mind, people learn at different rates. What you might learn in a day another person might take three years on the hill to learn.

  6. My brother was a jet ski instructor, and through the courses he covered he qualified to be a ski (snow) instructor - and he had never even skied.  So none.
