I can't decide which to do. I skiied a couple times back in the day but i was pretty young and havn't skiied in like 5 years. Snowboarding looks a lot easier tho and easir to balance/ go off jumps with mroe control and wipe out easier with less pain, etc. I don't go to mountains a lot but am wondering whihc i should take up, whihc is easier to get better at so i can go up with friends who are really good and what not.

Thanks

  1. skiing is a lot easier for me but dat is becus i hav been roller blading since b4 i cud walk (or just about...)

it depends on wether u surf or skate board (wich is lyk snoboarding)

or roller skate or water ski (wich is lyk skiing)

i think that skiing is better and skiers r nicer

wen i was little i got taken out by snoboarders on the mt and they didnt care and just kept going, were as i neva got seriously injured by a skier

if uv alredy tried skiing i dnt no y ur asking weather u shud snoboard

r u realy turning to the dark side?

  2. Have you thought of ski-biking?

Easy to learn ( 30 minutes)

    Low center of gravity

No knee or ankles needed for turns

Lots of fun and people steer all the time

    check it out

  3. For about 5 years I had skied when I was young &a couple of years ago I had switched to snowboarding, something I won't regret. Overall, snowboarding is harder, once you master snowboarding you'll think skiing was as easy as walking. I'd recommend snowboarding because it's just a lot more fun, despite all the horrible wipeouts you have to go through when you first learn. But if you're mainly interested in catching up with your friends, stick to skiing, it's much easier(atleast in my opinion).

  4. I would ski, it seems easier to me.

  5. I would suggest trying snowboarding. You have skiied before...so why not try something that you havent done yet...

I skiied before last season, but i only did it a few times and it was on and off (there was a year or two where i didnt go skiing). Then, when i went back to the resort last season, i had a hard time stopping and turning, so i switched to snowboarding...picked it up in a couple of of tries.
