Skidndaddy, the one to look out for in the Bags Track Championship Dogs
Competing in the Bags Track Championship Dogs are Skidndaddy, Locnamon Brian, Rockmount Shadow, Maui Hawk, Juan Dog and Come On Dave. The contestants will race over 480 metres flat at Sittingbourne on Thursday, 1st November. The prize money set for the race is £200.
One of the most promising candidates for the race is the two-year-old black dog, Skidndaddy. The hard to ignore entry is well seasoned in the 2012 campaign. His regular quest over 480 metres flat race took off on with the first position on 20th September, 2012.
Racing in red, the trip did not seem to be much of an effort once he had set into the pace that was required for ditching down the competition, and led from the very first position, settling the race in 29.72 seconds.
Bank Bailout qualified as the runner-up after missing the first position by the mark of a length.
Droopys Kewell’s son was then successful in the Grade A2 480 metres flat race on 7th October, 2012 at Sittingbourne.
Racing in red, he first moved away from rest of the entries, was quick to establish lead and then held on to it making it to the other end of the wire in 29.57 seconds. Finishing next to the best just by half-length mark was, Ballyvocoke Hawk.
20th October, 2012 saw the two-year-old out of, Balscadden Katie, bagging the prize money of the Grade A2 480 metres flat race at Sittingbourne. Highly talented he already is, but this time around he squeezed out all that the first trap had to offer, he dodged past trouble, and concluded the race in 29.62 seconds.
The D. Puddy trained made the success more worthwhile with 7 ¼ lengths lead. Coming at terms with the second position was, Keano Hill.
The well trialled two-year-old ended as the runner-up in a Grade A2 480 metres flat race on 28th October, 2012 at Sittingbourne. The margin by which he lost was nothing close to significant, the winner, Droopys Roulette, edged past by head’s difference, and timed the distance in 29.62 seconds.
He will race from the red box tonight, and already has concrete experience of how to steer his way around from there.
