Skiing good at big bear til when?

when is it too late usually to visit big bear for skiing? Is march too warm or are people still skiing? surely not april...

You really never know.  southern california is known for its summer like weather even in the middle of winter.  I have seen great skiing in March and the next year no snow but for man made.  It's a total c**p shoot.  At the same time I have seen good conditions in April and once even in may.  Of course the mountain was closed and employees gone.  So it didn't count.
