Skiing - hockey stop?

Hi, could you guys give me tips on how to properly execute a hockey stop (skiing)

Turn both feet at the same time and balance on both feet,  engage your edges hard enough to stop, but not to fall.  Touch your downhill pole to the snow for balance.

   Practice steering both feet and keeping your body facing downhill.  Take a series of lessons from a qualified professional instructor.  Have fun, do not spray snow on your friends.

PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.  I can tell you, lift your left legand turn your right leg, but only actually being on the slope will help you.
