my dad suprised me with a trip to europe that im missing 15 days for. all he bought was plane tickets to geneva round trip. we leave on the 4th and come back on the 19th. basically i have to plan the ultimate ski vacation in the next two weeks. i have a general idea-we land in geneva, use all public trans., get the monthly train passes, sleep in hostels, get the hostel cards, stay in charmonix for however long, get over to alagana-monterosa, and then head off to zermatt, maybe hit up andermatt, and if we have time maybe engelburg. this is all variable so it doesnt matter where we stay as long as the snow is good haha. anyone have any suggestion on places to ski? transportation? where to find the hostel cards and train passes? preferred routes? keep in mind ive never been there, but im very resourceful, and my dad's clueless, so its up to me. ive been skiing for 11 years and have been to a lot of other countries, but not in europe. im looking for the real challenging stuff. thanks. Tom.

  1. Get a Eurorail pass here before you go and I would suggest that you look at Austria as well

St. Anton has 5 resorts all together and very close to Innsbruck

Travel light, because dragging around a lot of luggage is a drag and plan your travels to plan on sleeping on trains on overnight trips - This will save money

also take food on the trains like a picnic

    Have fun
